BECOME AN APPRENTICE

Master Painters Australia NSW Association Inc. is the peak industry association representing the interests of Painting and Decorating Contractors and employers throughout New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Our Group Training Company (MPGTC Pty Ltd) is currently seeking people who are interested in a career in the Painting & Decorating Industry in the Sydney metro area, Central Coast, Newcastle and Illawarra region. 

Experienced apprentices and trades personnel are also encouraged to apply as we have businesses looking for tradespeople.

• Are you prepared to work hard to achieve a rewarding and long lasting career?
• Both women and men have become high achievers within our Industry.
• An essential requirement to be a qualified tradesperson in the Industry is to undertake and successfully complete formal education in the Certificate course (CPC30611 – Certificate III in Painting & Decorating).
• The Industry requires physical work and the ability to think through the job you are undertaking.

Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided. Our training is open to school leavers, mature age candidates and anyone who has a desire to work in the Painting and Decorating Industry. An apprenticeship and admission to TAFE is restricted to Australian citizens, permanent residents and those on a humanitarian visa.

Successfully completing the TAFE course whilst being employed as an apprentice, will provide you with the essential requirements to be a qualified tradesperson in the Painting and Decorating Industry.

Suitable candidates who have completed our pre apprenticeship training would have the opportunity of being placed for employment within the Painting and Decorating Industry.
